WONTON SOUP

- SOUP INGREDIENTS 3 cups chicken stock 2 cups water 2 teaspoons soy sauce 2 spring onions sliced in half 4 pieces thinly sliced ginger salt and pepper - WONTON INGREDIENTS wonton wrappers 1 cup pork mince 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon chinese cooking wine 1 teaspoon cornflour 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon minced ginger 1 spring onion finely sliced (green section only for low FODMAP) 1/3 red chili finely diced (optional) 1. Combine all soup ingredients in a large pot, cover with lid and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and leave for 15 minutes then turn off and leave the soup on the stove top. 2. Meanwhile combine all the wonton ingredients, except for the wrappers in a bowl. Scoop 1/2 teaspoon of the mince mixture, place it in the middle of a wonton wrapper, fold in half and press together to create a triangle (wet edges to help the wrapper stay together). Wet one corner and press together with on other to create the wontons. 3. Bring the soup back to the boil then carefully add the wontons, cook for 10 minutes before serving
