800g beef mince1 diced brown onion1 jar tomato pasta sauce1 clove of garlic crushed1 packet pasta (I used gluten and egg free pasta)150g butter (I used dairy free spread)3/4 cup plain flour (I used gluten free) 1L milk (I used soy milk) 1 cup grated cheese (I used lactose free cheese) 1 cup bread crumbs (I used gluten free) 50g melted butter (I used dairy free spread) 1. Add mince and onion to a frying pan and cook until mince is brown. Add pasta sauce and garlic then leave to simmer for 15 minutes. 2. Meanwhile boil pasta, drain and set aside when cooked. 3. Melt 150g butter in a saucepan and stir in flour. Continue to mix until the mixture comes together like a dough. Gradually add the milk, continuously whisking until the mixture thickens and begins to boil. Remove from heat and stir in one cup of cheese. Then mix with pasta. 4. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. 5. In a large baking dish add pasta, top with mince, then sprinkle with breadcrumbs 5. Bake in a 180 degree Celsius preheated oven for 15 minutes. 6. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes.
